If you are, you are likely to be wrestling with one or more of these successful-leader struggles. Many who are leaders in their industry desire to:
Improve communication and connection with employees
Implement difficult changes in their work and home life
Gain clarity in organizational strategy and direction
Grow themselves and/or their organization
Improve daily business relationships with co-workers
Grow leadership skills for new business opportunities
Make a transition to a new role or organization
Gain more influence in their organization
Get "unstuck" or find direction at a crossroad in life
Avoid burnout and balance work, family, hobbies and health
I help business, ministry and non-profit leaders ignite transformative change by clarifying their purpose and mission, promoting personal and professional growth, and developing the leadership in their organizations.
I am a business owner, entrepreneur, retired financial advisor and life-long resident of Louisville, KY. I have three grown children and live in La Grange with my wife, Kathy.
For over three decades as a financial advisor, I served as a coach and mentor to clients and colleagues helping them achieve their personal and professional objectives. As an entrepreneur I built and sold a successful business, and I have served in leadership roles in business, non-profit and faith-based organizations.
These experiences helped me find a clarity of purpose and fulfillment that has fueled a passion not only for my personal growth and development, but also to walk alongside others who seek greater fulfillment in their lives.
A life-long resident of Louisville, KY, I recently moved to nearby La Grange with my wife Kathy. Our children Eric Douglas, Kelly Hubbuch and Kyndal Smith all reside in the area, and we have five grandchildren.
Community activities include membership at Southeast Christian Church where I am a member of the Men’s Mentorship Team and lead a men’s study; La Grange Rotary; Oldham County Chamber of Commerce; and Kingdom Advisors.
Through coaching these people who are searching for meaning and significance can find it in their everyday lives — at work and at home.
If you want confidence and clarity in your life, I will help you implement strategies that will lead to these kinds of results:
Confidence from realizing personal potential
Clarity of your life purpose and direction
Increased influence and leadership skills
Harmony in relationships and communication at home and work
Satisfaction of achieving your goals
Peace that comes from finding
work-life balance

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires people to maximize their personal and professional potential.
No. Coaching is forward focused while counseling tends to deal with past mental health, personal or psychological issues where people find themselves stuck or struggling.
Coaching sessions can be done in person, online or on a telephone call, according to the needs of the client and coach.
Coaching sessions can be done privately, with a partner or spouse or in a group setting for an organization. The goals and content will vary according to the setting.
Typically the sessions are for 60-90 minutes each, and are led by the coach according to the desires and concerns of the client. The relationship can be for a specified number of sessions, months or open-ended, depending upon the client’s objectives.
Absolutely. All conversations between the coach and client are confidential. A copy of our coaching definitions and ethics is available upon request.
A written agreement outlines roles and expectations of all parties involved before beginning the coaching engagement, including financial terms and the extent of the relationship.
Terms will vary with the type of coaching relationship desired and are clearly spelled out in the agreement. Payment can be made by check or via PayPal or Venmo.
